PUBG claimed the life of a teen in MP
A 16-year old teen from MP died due to cardiac arrest after playing PUBG on his smartphone for a continuous stretch of 6 hours. The unfortunate incident took place in the Neemuch town of the Madhya Pradesh. Furkan Quereshi, a student of class XII was playing the game on his mobile. While playing the game, he suddenly became agitated and started shouting before he fell on the floor, said his father Harun Quereshi. The boy died on May 28. His sister was beside him when he started shouting ‘blast karo, blast karo’. The family members rushed to him as he collapsed on the floor and immediately took him to the hospital. He was declared dead on the arrival. His body was examined by the cardiologist Ashok Jain. He said that the excitement of the game might have caused the increase in adrenaline and the heart rate leading to the cardiac arrest.
