CBSE launched free training for the teachers
CBSE has successfully conducted the technology enabled pilot teacher training program. The program was held from third week of May. After its success, the CBSE has decided to launch Online Teacher Training program through its Center of Excellence (CoE). In the pilot program, CBSE conducted 500 free online training sessions in which more than 35,000 teachers and principals participated. Now, after the success of the pilot program the board is launching structured online teacher training program which will enable teachers to teach better using the digital technology. Through training sessions, teachers will be able to upskill themselves with the latest developments in teaching methodology and will be able to revise and refresh what they already know. Each training session will be of one-hour duration and e-certificates will be issued to each participant. CBSE, on its official website, has shared the schedule for the month of May 2020along with participation guideline. For this month, CoEs have planned over 1200 online sessions.
